Corn Mazes in Davis County and Corn Maze Date Ideas

This post was updated on 09/20/2024.

One of the most popular fall date nights is a visit to the local corn maze. I would guess that corn mazes are right up there in the top three fall activities, after football games, and driving through the canyon to see the fall leaves. Years ago we drove all the way to Thanksgiving Point for our first corn maze experience because I didn't think that there were any here locally. Now I know that we can support local farms and have some fall fun exploring a corn maze all at the same time!

Davis County Corn Mazes

Cross E Ranch

Location: 3500 N. 2200 W., Salt Lake City (Located west on the Center Street, NSL exit)
Cost:
$14.95 - $22.95 per adult

This year’s maze design is titled “It’s All About Fall” and features pumpkins, ghosts, mummies, and a headless horseman as part of the design. There are three routes you can take; mini, medium, and mega. Per some information that Cross E added to their social media, it takes about 15 minutes to get through the mini maze, 30 minutes for the medium, and 45 for the mega. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can tackle all three! Grab fresh donuts and some cider or hot chocolate after you’ve completed the mazes.

Cabela’s Corn Maze

Location: Behind Cabela’s - 391 Cabelas Dr, Farmington
Cost:
$6-$14

A new corn maze is opening in central Davis County this year and it promises to be a lot of fun! This corn maze doesn’t have a lot of details posted on size or design, but they will have haunted nights and family nights so it can be fun for all.

Black Island Farms

Location: 2075 4000 W, Syracuse
Cost:
$14 per adult for the corn maze and courtyard, $30 total for the corn maze, courtyard, and Nightmare Acres

Because we haven't been to this location before and they don't post an aerial view of their corn maze online, I can't tell you what it's like. It is 16 acres and I have heard that it’s always a good time. They also feature a haunted corn maze called Nightmare Acres which runs in the evenings after 7 p.m., if you’re looking for something a little more spooky. That haunted maze includes zombie apocalypse laser tag which sounds like a lot of fun!

Pack Farms

Location: 1700 W Glovers Ln, Farmington
Cost
: $5 entrance fee

Pack Farms doesn't have a corn maze, but they have a fun little hay maze that I thought you might like to know about. We’ve taken our kids to explore it and pick out pumpkins, every year since we discovered it, and it’s always fun! It is the perfect height for kids, tall enough that the kids aren't able to see over the top, making it fun and challenging for them but not too tall so the adults accompanying them can see the way out in case anyone gets lost.

Serious question... does anyone know what the protocol is for making sure nobody is still lost in the corn maze when the farms close every night?
