There is nothing I love more than eating outside, especially as the weather starts to cool down after summer, or on a cool summer evening. I’ve had the opportunity to eat outside a handful of times recently and it has made my heart so happy. There are a lot of patios open during the warmer months in Davis County. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or something more casual, there’s a place for you to go!
Restaurants with Patio Dining in Davis County
Nielsen’s Frozen Custard
570 W 2600 S, Bountiful
We grabbed ice cream after an event late one night and ate outside at Nielsen’s and the vibe was really fun! The classic burgers, fries, concretes and custard are amazing. They had throwback diner music playing outside and the vibe was so fun. Go for a meal, or just a snack or treat.
Pizzeria Limone
71 N 500 W, Bountiful
There’s a small patio on the north side of Pizzeria Limone that feels secluded and is great for lunch or dinner outside. On the weekends they often have live music, but even when there isn’t live music, I love eating outside. Grab a full pizza or salad, just some gelato, or even one of their handmade lemonades for a fun date.
Vito’s
100 S Main St, Bountiful
Tables with shade are located right outside Vito’s front door. Vito’s is a local favorite and serves classic cheesesteak sandwiches. Just remember that they are only open for lunch on weekdays.
Caffe Torino
58 N Main St, Farmington
Tucked behind this cozy coffee shop and cafe on historic Farmington Main Street is a cozy patio. You can enjoy your crepes, paninis, pastries, and coffee at a table among the trees, with twinkle lights overhead and live music some weekends.
Waffle Love
1076 Park Lane, Farmington
Go for a meal or a treat and dine inside where the atmosphere is great, or outside on the patio that’s located on the south side of the building!
Habit Burger
260 W Union Ave #115, Farmington
If you’ve never had Habit Burger, it’s a must-try. Habit Burger is located in Station Park and has a patio on the south side of the restaurant, perfect for an outdoor date night. I’ve never ordered anything I don’t like at Habit Burger.
Noodles & Co
1032 Park Ln, Farmington
We love pasta and the patio dining on the east side of the Farmington Noodles & Co. Each table has a large umbrella overhead so it’s comfortable to dine, no matter the time of day.
Zao Asian Cafe
1026 Park Ln, Farmington
Next door to Noodles is Zao, with a few tables out front you can eat. Their rice bowls, tacos, wraps, and salads can’t be beaten! The flavors are unique and this is a regular date night spot for us.
P.F. Changs
905 W W Promontory, Farmington
P.F. Changs occupies one of the four main restaurant spaces around the fountains at Station Park. Their patio offers great people-watching, a view of the fountains, and a delicious meal.
Twigs
155 N E Promontory, Farmington
I’m partial to this patio and have eaten out on the patio more than inside. The view of the fountains at Station Park is perfect, the food is amazing, and it’s one of the most amazing places for a date.

Along the back side of Cafe Sabor is a covered patio that is inviting and colorful. Ask to eat outside and you can watch the Trax Train load and unload and enjoy the setting sun.
Burger Stop
323 E Gentile St, Layton
A big outdoor patio is located right in front of Burger Stop. You’ll enjoy classic burgers, fries, onion rings, and shakes.
Rooster’s
748 Heritage Park Blvd, Layton
This is a great date night spot with delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Drop by The Coop next door for another fun date night location.
Take some time to eat out in the next month before the weather gets too cold to enjoy a date night meal outside.
